Obituary

Max Jarrett, 89, died of natural causes , Thursday August 12th in his home surrounded by family. Max was born in Morris Chapel, TN. Max served his country during WWII in the Pacific theatre. He moved to Flagstaff in 1962 teaching math at both junior high schools and selling real estate. He loved hiking; crossing the grand canyon from the north to south rim in one day. He had a immense love for God and family.
He is survived by his children Max Jr. of Willcox, AZ and Carolyn Jarrett of Flagstaff , AZ, three grand children, Holly, Scott, Heather and four great grand children, Mekenzie, Corinne, Natalya and Ciaran.
He was preceded in death by his wife Florene; parents Ben and Meda, brothers Leon, Johnny and Ben Jr.
Services will be Monday August 16th at 1:00 pm at Norvel Owens Mortuary with a public viewing from noon to 12:45pm
