Roland Tanner Smythe, age 23 passed away unexpectedly on Friday May. 10, 2024 in Flagstaff, Az. He was born in Lake Havasu Az on February 07, 2001 to his parents Eric and Carrie who welcomed their bundle of joy. Roland had 3 sisters Megan, Hailey and Kimberly.  Roland was an amazing brother, friend, Son, Nephew and Grandson who loved the Lord with all his heart.

Roland was an inspiration to his family, friends and co-workers.  He loved to play video games, hunt with his father, spend time at the beach, boating, camping and hanging out with friends. Roland was not afraid to claim his faith and bring others to the Lord. Roland's motto was "Don't tell me I can't do it, because I will prove you wrong".  Roland loved going to the movies with his Mom and eating subway and Texas Roadhouse. Roland loved Storm Troopers, Anime and collecting them. Roland had the most contagious laugh and was full of life. He could do voices like micky mouse, baby Yoda and made his Mom laugh. He was giving, generous and an amazing Son to his Parents and an incredible Brother.  He will forever be missed leaving behind an imprint on so many who loved him.

Roland is survived by his Mom and step dad Carrie & John Gummow. His Father and step Mom Eric & Sara Smythe, His sisters Kimberly, Hailey and Megan Smythe. His Brother n law Wyatt. His Maternal Grandparents Ben & Anita. His Aunts Nicole, His Uncle Zac & Aunt Kendra, His Aunt Amy, dog Luna, Paternal Grandparents Dale & Sharon Smythe. His Uncle Jason.

Roland is preceded in death by his Grandfather Tom, Grandmother Frances, Great Uncle Tommy, Great Grandparents Clee & Sue.
