Ron G. Barreras
Ron G. Barreras, 62, of Flagstaff died Sat, January 20, 2007 after a long fight with cancer. Mr. Barreras was born October 26, 1944 in Flagstaff AZ.
He attended schools in Flagstaff from Kindergarten through High School. He graduated from Flagstaff High in 1962. He enlisted in the Arizona National Guard where he underwent Basic Training at Fort Ord, California. Ronald was a musician and plated with a lot of the local bands in and around the Flagstaff area. Starting his musician's career at the age of 14 years. Ronald was employed with the U.S. Forest Service. Ponderosa Paper Co., Coconino County and then went on the open his own Upholstery Shop Business in Flagstaff.
He is survived by his mother, Georgia Barreras, of Flagstaff; his four children, Ronald, Patsy, Chris and Cassie all of Flagstaff; brother Lawrence (Marian) of Cottonwood and sister Margaret (Johnny) Montoya of Flagstaff; 8 grandchildren, and his best friend Wayde Little.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Barreras.
Holy Rosary will be said 10 am, Thursday, January 25, 2007; Memorial Mass will follow at 11 am all services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel.
