Ronald Milton Gates, 73, of Flagstaff, Arizona passed away on March 7, 2012. Ronald was born July 20, 1938 in Clayton, Missouri to John and Bernice Gates. He was the oldest of three children. Ronald was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Janice Gates of 54 years, sons Elliot, John and Chris, daughter Jennifer, two wonderful granddaughters Ashley and Alexandra, brother Robert, and sister Diann. He will be deeply missed by us all. Dad, we love you and you will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.

He served honorably in the United States Army from 1956-1959, and worked for IBM for 32 years and deservedly retired in 1991.

A private family memorial was held at the Norvel Owens Mortuary on Saturday March 10, 2012.
