Obituary

Ronald Lynn Marker, 58, died Monday, June 9th, 2008 at Flagstaff Medical Center. His daughter and best friend were by his side.
Ron was born in Fairview, Oklahoma in 1949 and moved to Arizona early in his childhood. He graduated from Flagstaff High School where he enjoyed football and boxing. He later learned Tae Kwon Do. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. Ron worked in construction and excavation in the Flagstaff area and was known for his ability to fix anything.
Ron enjoyed drag car racing and motorcycles, skiing, camping and outdoor recreation. He also loved animals, gardening, music, playing guitar, and studying quantum physics and the potential of the mind. He had a love for words and avidly absorbed the dictionary. Ron was very devoted to family and friends, who were often friends for life. All loved his unique sense of humor and quick wit.
Ron is survived by daughter Gina Marker and grandson Ian, parents Wayne and Violet Marker, brother Larry Marker and his wife Sally Marker, and best friend Ken Sucher.
A private service will be held in Helena, Montana at a yet undetermined time. Memorial donations can be given to the Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
