Ronald E. Rootes, 68, died Friday, May 2, 2008. He was born July 21, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to Alfred and Una Rootes. He spent his adult life working in the soft drink business in many parts of the country but the last eight years were here in Flagstaff at Pepsi. He loved the outdoors and his favorite time was when he had a fishing pole in his hand.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; son Gary; daughter Suzanne Kessnick; three grandchildren; brother George (Mary) Rootes and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Janice, and his mother and father.
Burial will be in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Polycystic Kidney Foundation, 922 Walnut Street, Kansas City, MO 64106, or a charity of your choice.
An informal remembrance gathering will be held at his home; 6671 E. Eagle Crest Drive on Saturday May 17th 2-4 pm
