Obituary

Rosemary Cynthia Duran Mina, 68, of Camp Verde passed away peacefully surrounded by family November 23rd 2024 in her home that she loved so much.

She was born on February 18th 1956 in Bellemont Arizona to Librada and Bonifacio Duran. Rosemary was a beloved mom, wife, grandmother, sister, Nina, and a cherished friend to many.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Joao Mina, daughter, Tanya Mina, granddaughters Vanessa, Raquel, and Daléyza and preceded in death by her parents Librada and Bonifacio Duran, siblings Anastacio Vigil and Emily Granillo, and sister-in-law Patricia Greenwood.

Rosemary had a love for helping others. This was shown through dedication to school districts both in Flagstaff and Camp Verde as a paraprofessional throughout 25 years. She had patience, empathy, and love for every child she encountered. After her years in the school, she retired to become a dedicated grandmother to her grandkids.

Rosemary loved Paris, as she and her husband visited there and fell in love with the scenery and the culture. She loved the Wizard of Oz as that was a connection from her childhood she carried with her for the rest of her life. She loved collecting salt and pepper shakers from different places she'd visit, or anything Wizard of Oz or Paris themed, she had to have it.

Rosemary left a strong legacy behind in her family. She was the root of our family and we will continue to grow through and for her.

A service will be held on Friday November 29th 2024 at Norvel Owens Mortuary in Flagstaff, Arizona at 9am.

"She is protected by the power of good, and this is greater than the power of evil."
