Rosie Ann Joe, 73, of Flagstaff AZ passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 24th, 2018. She was born June 21st, 1944 to Roosevelt and Anna T Smith of Carthage, MS. On July 28th, 1962 she married her love Robert Joe of Flagstaff, AZ. Family was the most important part of her life. She devoted 10 years in retail at Newberry's and 20 wonderful years with DES baby-sitting many children of Flagstaff until retirement. Being the mother of Springhill Missionary Church Rosie strongly devoted her passion and time to the church and her church family contributing to the Choir, Bible study and many other duties throughout the years. Rosie enjoyed playing Spades, Gin-Rummy or Tunk with her sister Lala and dear friends. Any chance Rosie got she would take a trip to the Casino or the Lake to Fish. She never missed a Phoenix Suns game or the opportunity to just sit on her front porch and enjoy the weather.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Alicia (Lee Lee) Joe. She is survived by her Husband, of 56 years, Robert Joe and their two sons; Nathan (Lisa) Joe and Robert (Tonya) Joe Junior. Surrounded by her siblings and their families; Robert Lee Smith, Laura Broomfield and Cassandra Bogan. Also loved and cherished by her grandchildren Joshua (Vikki) Joe, Nathan (Azalea) Joe Junior, Alexis LaRosa-Joe, Chaelynn Schafer, Desiree Meyer, Dorian Daw and Kylie Ward. 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Being the heart of the Joe family Rosie will be deeply missed!
