Obituary

Sally LeViness beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on May 24, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 15, 1932 in Bakersfield, California she is survived by her husband Edward LeViness, Flagstaff, AZ., daughters Joanie (Blair) Larson, Anthem, AZ., Nancy Cline, Glendale, AZ., Lynn LeViness, Chandler, AZ., five grandchildren Kyndall Cline, Flagstaff, AZ., Ryan & Connor Cline, Glendale, AZ., Alexa and Kristian Larson, Anthem, AZ., sisters Margaret Ann Costello, San Francisco, CA., Joan Krausse, Bakersfield, CA., and numerous nephews in the San Francisco Bay area.

Sally graduated from Saint Mary's College of Nursing and worked in the medical profession in Bakersfield where she met the love of her life Edward LeViness. The couple were blessed to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 13, 2011.

Sally was extremely involved in the San Francisco de Asis parish where she worked with traveler's aide, St. Vincent De Paul, bereavement committee, altar society and many others. Sally was a very religious, caring and giving woman who was deeply committed to her faith and now is riding on angels wings to be with the Lord. Sally will be terribly missed by us all.

Donations to St. Vincent De Paul Society (2113 N. East St, Flagstaff, AZ. 86004) in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated. A memorial service for Sally will be held at Nativity Church, 16 W. Cherry Ave. Flagstaff, AZ. on Friday, June 17th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with reception to immediately follow at St. Pius Church, 2257 E. Cedar Ave. Flagstaff, AZ.
