Sarah Lucille McElheny(Wolfe), 78, of Flagstaff, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2011. Sarah was born in Lansing, Michigan on August 6, 1932.
Sarah loved Jesus, her family and her many friends. Sarah loved to spend time outdoors camping, fishing, hunting and animal watching. Her cat, Hannah, was her loving companion and a source of comfort to her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sarah loved to go to all the ball games and concerts the great grandchildren participated in, here in town.
Sarah joyfully joins the following loved ones in heaven with Jesus: her husband, David McElheny; her daughter, Darla Chaplin; her grandson, Robert Bloom. Sarah is survived by her son, William Sabin(April) of Carson City, NV; her granddaughter Nevitta Mason(George) of Flagstaff, AZ; granddaughter Tareva Hardwick of Wakeman, OH; and her great grandchildren, Kaela, Jakeb, Logen and Moira. She also leaves behind many dear friends, especially Rose and her church family at Greenlaw Baptist Church.
A celebration of her life will be held this Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Greenlaw Baptist Church; 3400 E Lockett Rd, Flagstaff, AZ.
