Scott Wayne Ross, passed from this life to be with our Ever-Loving Father on December 26, 2010 at his residence in Flagstaff. Scott was born on August 24, 1958 in Billings, Montana and moved with his family in 1974 to Flagstaff. He is the son of Donald and Norma Ross of Flagstaff.

He is a 1977 graduate of Coconino High School, where he excelled academically, as well as in Football and Basketball. He moved to Durango, Colorado where he graduated from Fort Lewis College and began his career and passion for teaching and coaching in the Durango and Ignacio, Colorado. He later brought his passion for coaching to the young athletes of Mingus Union High school. He currently resided in Flagstaff.

He is survived by his loving son, Kyle Matthew Ross; his parents, Donald and Norma Ross; sister Donna Ross-Mitchell (Alan), grandfather, Lloyd Ross, two nieces, four nephews, and 13 great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Kimberly Sue Ross and Julie Ann Ross-Burrup

A Memorial Service will be December 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001
