Obituary

Scotty Attakai, 71, passed away September 12, 2005 in Flagstaff. He was born December 28, 1933 in Teesto, Arizona. He was raised in the Teesto area and worked for the railroad as a trackman for about 10 years then moved to Flagstaff where he worked as a cook and for South West Forest Industries as a Plainer operator, In 1968 he moved back to Teesto where he took care of his family and worked for the Navajo Nation. He enjoyed remolding projects and going on hikes.



He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Tom, three stepchildren, Roselin Joe, Elaine Joe and Roberta Gardner, four brothers, Raymond Attakai, Shorty Attakai, Roy Attakai, Tom Attakai, two sisters Pauline Wagner, and Hazel Attakai, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lola Attakai.



A visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. at the Broken Arrow 1st Assembly of God Church in Indian Wells. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m... Burial will be held at the Indian Wells Community Cemetery.
