Obituary

Sharon was a beautiful, intelligent woman with a young soul. She was an authority at living life on her own terms.  She collected friends wherever she went.  She was a great lover of animals, art, laughter, fun,  and  all things mystical and sacred.  She was a master bridge player and golfer with a group of friends with whom she would regularly dine and go to the movie theater.  She particularly loved foreign films, but was also game to watch Disney cartoons with her grandchildren.

In the 1960's she moved her young children to California and completed her university degree .  She then established a career as a social worker with San Diego County which lasted until she retired.

Sharon was born and raised in British Columbia by British-Irish parents.  She would fall in love with an American naval ensign, marry him, and move to the states.  Together they had three children,  six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Sharon was told by a friend that she was like a Siamese cat.  Siamese cats are known for being beautiful, intelligent, independent, affectionate, loyal, gentle protective, and a bit eccentric. It's a fit!  Mom, your children, Steve, Tara & Sondra, and grand & great grand kids will love you forever!  You touched so many lives!

Funeral Services to be held at Church of the Epiphany at 10:00 a.m. Wed., May 29, 423 N Beaver St., Flagstaff. Interment will conclude services at Citizens' Cemetery, Flagstaff, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Humane Society
