Sibyl Louise Brockwell, 93, a longtime resident of Winslow, died peacefully on March 24, 2015 in Flagstaff, AZ.
She was born in Lilbourn, MO to Daniel McBride and Nellie Brooks McBride. She married Hubert Brockwell in 1939. They moved to Winslow, AZ in 1944 where he worked for the railroad.

Sibyl's greatest joy was her family. She prided herself on being a good Christian, homemaker, cook, mother, and wife She also made beautiful quilts by hand and every member of her family takes pride in owning them. She was a charter member of the First Christian Church in Winslow and attended faithfully with her children.

Sibyl is survived by sons Danny (Judy), Steve (Marsha), daughter Jetti Tubbs, sister Doris Woods, and two nieces . She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-children, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, sister, and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2 pm, at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Rte 66, Flagstaff, AZ.
