Sophie Schrachta's Obituary
Sophie Schrachta age 82 passed away at her home August 19, 2005 following a long illness.
She was born Dec. 10, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. She married Roy Schrachta February 28, 1943. Sophie moved to flagstaff in 1971. Her interests and hobbies include gardening, crocheting, knitting, she also loved flowers, animals,cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her four children Lynn Wagner of Tarzana, California, Roy, Alan & John of Flagstaff, Arizona, two sisters, Cecilia Osysko and Amelia Pogwizd and one brother, John Kurzawa, all from Chicago, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Schrachta and daughter,Peggy Schrachta.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00p.m. Thursday August 25, 2005 at Norvel Owens Mortuary 914 E. Rt. 66, Flagstaff, Arizona. Funeral Mass will be Friday August26, 10:00a.m. at St. Pius Chapel 2257 E. Cedar Ave. Burial will follow in
the
Calvary Cemetery.
