Stella M. Lipinski, 86, died Saturday June 16, 2007 at the Olivia White Hospice House.
Mrs. Lipinski was born the youngest of five children, in Bay City Michigan to Hattie and Louis Kryzminski.
Mrs. Lipinski was a veteran of WWII service in the army as a W.A.A.C. After her discharge she worked for the Bay City Police Department.
On May 20, 1950 she married Joseph P. Lipinski Jr. and moved to Flagstaff. She raised two children, taught religious classes, and was a member of the Alpine Garden Club for thirty years. She enjoyed working with dried seeds and pods to create beautiful wreaths, growing flowers, canning, baking, and acted with Theatrikos. She will be remembered as the lady with all the hats.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Joseph P. Lipinski Jr.
She is survived by her son, Nick (Connie) Lipinski of Flagstaff, her daughter Dr. Rose Lipinski of Cottonwood, and three grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Lipinski of Tucson, Carol Ann of Flagstaff and Steven of Cottonwood.
Holy Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Flagstaff on Wednesday, June 20th. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2007 also At St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2257 E. Cedar Ave, Flagstaff.
