Sylvia A. Johnson,  64 years old of Ganado, Arizona died July 17, 2024, in Chinle, Arizona.

She was born April 17, 1960 in Ft. Defiance, Arizona.  She was raised and lived in Ganado, Arizona until she moved with her family to Flagstaff in early 1970. Sylvia graduated from Coconino High school in 1979.  Sylvia worked for IHS 30+ years.

Sylvia enjoyed  cooking for her family, camping, traveling and spending time with her children and relatives. Sylvia enjoyed sharing the word of God.

She is survived by her son, Warren Bluehouse of Ganado; daughter Audrey Bluehouse of Arkansas. Siblings; Sheila Dickens & Brenda Watson both of Phoenix. Marjane Johnson and Tim Watson both of Flagstaff and Barbara Johnson of Tempe, AZ.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her brother David Johnson, sister Rose Ann Dickens, Mother Joan  S. Dickens, Father Rev. Luke Kee Johnson. Brothers Luke Johnson Jr., Darkmoon Cliffdweller. Marjorie Reyna, Genevieve Denisho of Window Rock.   Aunts;  Rev. Annabelle Pino, Nettie Smith, Roberta Abe, Ella Mae Silversmith and her grandparents parents, John and Sarah Silversmith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Navajo Station Nazarene Church in Ganado, Arizona. Burial will be at the family cemetery in Ganado.
