Taylor Alan Chan, 21, passed May 25, 2009 in Flagstaff, AZ.

He was born November 12, 1987 in Flagstaff to Alan and Linda Chan. Taylor is the oldest of two children.

Taylor graduated from Flagstaff High School in 2006 and was entering his Senior year at Northern Arizona University.

His love was for family, friends and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, hunting, camping and kayaking. He had a spark for life and a great sense of humor. He will be missed by so many for his loving, caring and compassionate nature.

He is survived by his father Alan Chan and wife Lindy; mother Linda M. Chan; sister Abby Rose; grandmother Mary Chan; aunt Elaine Chan; the Jay and Susan Chan family; step brother and sister Gabriel and Jenny Belle Winse; and many relatives and friends.

A funeral service honoring Taylor's life will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:00am at Christ's Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Ave. Graveside services will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Flagstaff Toys for Tots P.O. Box 127, Flagstaff, AZ 86002 or the American Cancer Society 2724 E Lakin, Ste 9 Flagstaff, AZ 86004, two organizations that Taylor held close to his heart. Taylor said last week, "Every kid deserves a toy at Christmas."
