Terry Mason Collins, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 26, 2025 at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, AZ.  Services will be held at Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at Camp Navajo in Bellemont, AZ on Friday February 7, 2025 at 11:30 AM.  There will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Rising Church, 2615 E 7th Ave, Flagstaff, AZ.

Terry was born on December 27, 1957 in Mattoon, IL to Ronald and Lois (Sowers) Collins.  Shortly after high school, he joined the United States Air Force.  He served 4 years and then continued his service in the Air National Guard.  In 1980, he started his biggest adventure when he married his high school sweetheart, Susan Herman.  Their inspiring journey continued for 44 years until his passing.

He loved adventure, and always lived life to the fullest.  He was an avid skier who loved to fly down the slopes leaving us all in his powder.  This was second only to his love of motorcycles.  He enjoyed touring around the country with family and friends, taking in the amazing sites of this great country.

Terry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was generous and caring, and he had a wonderful sense of humor.  Above all, he was a great source of wisdom and guidance for the family.  He was deeply loved by his family, and will be greatly missed.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Collins, and father-in-law, William Herman.  He is survived by his mother, Lois Collins, his wife, Susan (Herman) Collins, his daughter, Nicole Sydow and her husband, Gregg, his grandchildren, Ava and Alec Sydow, his mother-in-law, Shirley Herman, and his brothers, Danny, Rodney, and Roger Collins.
