Theodore P. Wytroval, age 51, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours February 12, 2009 at home with his family in Flagstaff after a courageous fight with cancer.
Ted was born at the Flagstaff Hospital on December 27, 1957. He graduated from Coconino High School in 1975. On July 7, 1984 he married the love of his life, Sandy Turley.
Ted recently retired from the Arizona Department of Transportation after almost 30 years of service. He was an excellent mechanic and truly enjoyed his work.
He lived every minute for Sandy and his two sons and supported the boys through their many activities. He loved camping, driving and being outdoors. Every dirt road was something that needed to be explored which often resulted in many memorable and humorous predicaments. Ted will be missed by friends and family.
Ted is survived by his wife Sandy, sons Tanner and Trevor, brothers Bill (AnnMarie), Jack (Kathryn) and Anthony (Patty), and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother Marie (Kambouris) and father, Anthony, Square Deal, Wytroval.
Services for Ted will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Living Christ Lutheran Church. Located at 6401 North Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Ted's memory to "Coconino High Ted Wytroval Basketball Scholarship Fund" c/o Coconino High School, 2801 North Izabel Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86004-3413
