Thomas C. Caldwell, 55, of Flagstaff, passed away June 29, 2008 while on duty with Classic Lifeguard. Tom was born August 4, 1952 in Los Angeles, California to Betty and Thomas Caldwell. He Joined the army in Feb 1971 where he learned to fly, and was soon training other pilots. Tom served his country in Germany, Korea and Vietnam, he left the army in 1979. Tom began his commercial flying career at the time, flying for several companies. Most of his fondest memories come from his years flying at the Grand Canyon. Tom also assisted NPS with Search and Recovery at Lake Powell.
His hobbies include Boating, Amateur Radio, and Model Aviation
Tom is survived by his wife Pushpa, Sons: Nathan, Scott, Ajay and daughter Chetna
His sister, Pat Goodnight and by nephews Matt, Kenny, Jerry, Mike Goodnight
A memorial service will be held 1:00 Saturday afternoon, July 5, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center in Page, 1301 N. Navajo Dr.
