Virginia Lee Thurber, 92, of Flagstaff, Arizona died on Sunday, July 19, 2026. She was born August 5, 1933 in Clarkdale, Arizona- the oldest daughter of Ralph and Ethel Robertson. On August 11, 1951 she married Norton Thurber (deceased 2016) in Prescott, Arizona.

She was a devoted and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in various capacities.

Virginia was a curious and voracious reader, an eclectic collector of the world's treasures, and she loved the wonder of nature. The joy and laughter she brought to others will be missed.

Virginia was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Virginia and Norton raised four children, Carolyn (Bruce) Voigt, Paul (Diana), Ann and Barbara. She is survived by her three daughters, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on July 25, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4165 S. Lake Mary Road, Flagstaff, Arizona- Viewing at 9:00 am, Funeral at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Citizens' Cemetery.
