Walburga was born September 21, l92l in Two Inlets Township, Minnesota to Anna Marie and Henry Esser.
Walburga married Harold Solinger in 1941. They spent most of their lives in Minnesota, Oregon, and California raising their l2 children. Together they settled in Winslow, AZ until the passing of Harold. Walburga made her home in Golden Valley, AZ to be near her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Solinger of Bismark, AR, Imelda Solinger of Hurst, TX, Douglas (Tamara)Solinger of Winslow, AZ, Joseph Solinger, Wilma (William) Long, Victoria (Gus) Humphries, Virginia Snow of Golden Valley, AZ, Sister Martha Esser and Sister Imelda Esser of St. Benedicts Covenant Crookston,
MN; one brother, Mike Esser of Mankado, MN; 33 Grand children, 52 Great grandchildren, and three Great great grand children; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Walburga was a homemaker most of her life. She loved to sew, cook, and tend to as many plants and flowers as possible. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She never met a stranger and all that knew her came to love her as their own
mother and called her "MOM".
Walburga is preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters, two brothers, husband Harold of 54 years, two sons, Leon and Jimmy Bruce, and one grandchild, Kimberly.
She was a long time member of Eastern Star and Eagles.
Visitation will be at Norvel Owens Mortuary in Winslow, AZ on Sunday, September 24, 2006
from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Graveside services at Desert View Cemetery on Monday, September 25, 2006 @ 1:00 p.m. with Father Chacon officiating.
