Walter L. Birmingham
Walter L. Birmingham, 72, lost his six years battle with colon cancer on Tuesday, August 21, 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol of 52 years, granddaughter, Mandy Davis, grandson, Shawn Davis (Sarah), great-grandson, Dakota, sister, Lorraine Thornton, brother, Tom Birmingham (Carol), sister-in-law, Charlyne Rodriguez, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Walter was preceded in death by son Reggie in 1957 and daughter Teresa Straub in 2005. He attended Emerson grade school, North Phoenix High School and became a union bricklayer in 1957. He started his own business, True Masonry in 1982. Retiring to Parks, AZ in 1994 Walter continued to work on not only his own home, but the homes of many of his friends.
Walter touched many lives with his generous and friendly ways. He will be missed by all. Walt requested a private service he held and a "See you later", to all his family and friends.
