Obituary

Our Loving Husband, Father, Uncle, Brother and Friend, Walter Brandis passed into new life on August 16th, 2008. Walter was born on March 3, 1937 to Arthur and Bertha Brandis at the Flagstaff Hospital and lived all of his life in Flagstaff. He served in the US Army and worked in the logging industry and later acquired his own grazing permit for cattle ranching and farmed. He kept cattle and grew pumpkins and corn on the family farm on North Highway 89 until he was unable to do so.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, daughter Mary Jo, step-daughters Delia Barnett and Madonna Skweres, nephew Brent Collum, nieces Linda and Karen, cousin Lori Rogers and many others.

His life with us will be celebrated at a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM at the Lamb of God Bible Church on 7th Street in East Flagstaff, and followed by spreading of ashes at a memorial site on the Brandis Farm. Donations may be made to Northland Hospice in his memory. (Northland Hospice P.O. Box 997, Flagstaff, AZ 86002)
