Obituary

William Jefferson Siler, 68, of Flagstaff, passed away June 19, 2018.  Billy was born September 20, 1949 in Cottonwood, Arizona to George and Rosalie Siler.  He graduated from Flagstaff High School, worked for the Forest Service, then joined the US Navy, after which he came home to attend NAU. After NAU he worked again for the Forest Service for sixteen years and enjoyed his time as a leader of the Happy Jack Hotshots and a water tanker for the Mount Elden District.  He then worked for West Tech, doing road certification.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Amada Siler, his mother Rosalie Mae Siler, his brothers George T. Siler, Jr. and John Franklin Siler, his sisters Ann Harlen Flores, Candace Elizabeth Harrison, and Sally Anne Cancino, two grandchildren and his beloved cat Boogie.  He was preceded in death by his father, George Theodore Siler.

A visitation will take place Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at noon, followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm, both at Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, Arizona.  Burial will follow at Citizens' Cemetery.  Condolences and memories can be shared online at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
